The replacing Loading.KWI from Euro-DVD by Japanese DVD is not a good idea. Better launch the unit using Japanese DVD, after that replace DVD by European one. For the first expirience You may try unpack the files from root disk directory only.
OK sounds good, I will try and keep you updated on the progress.
I have updated my system with a newer (2005 compared to the original 2000 one) and loaded the Japanese disc, changed the disc during operation to my genuine 2005 Euro disc and it didn't work out unfortunately.
OK, tried this. Didn't work. The GPS couldn't read the DVD.
I have unpacked the following files from the main folder of the Euro Navi-DVD:
ALLDATA.KWI
EXPCTEGA.KWI
EXPCTVGA.KWI
INDEXDAT.KWI
PCTEGA2.KWI
PCTVGA.KWI
VERPARA.KWI
VOICEDAT.KWI
Replaced the packed files in the Euro Navi-ISO with the unpacked ones. Burnt a new DVD. Didn't work out. Should I try and replace the LOADING.KWI with the Japanese one?
